My Story
Who I Am
Twenty years ago, I got married — and the first red flag appeared on my wedding day. I remember being in bed, crying, not knowing that this was only the beginning. Over the years, the abuse took many forms: gaslighting, threats, manipulation, and emotional cruelty.
I felt silenced. My voice wouldn’t come out. My body reacted before my mind could catch up — trembling hands, nervous shaking, living in a constant state of fear.
We had two children together, but the abuse didn’t stop with me. My eldest son became a target too. By the age of six, he had developed an eating disorder, and later, an excessive water-drinking habit — signs of the deep emotional toll this environment took on him.
I share my story not to stay in the past, but to show that even from years of pain, it is possible to find strength, rebuild, and heal. Today, I stand as a survivor and a guide for others walking the path toward freedom and self-reclamation.
